Electrical Safety Training
All of our training is externally assessed and accredited by CPD, the courses are delivered by an experienced trainer with a minimum of Level 3 Award for Education & Training (PTLLS).
Why Undertake CPD Accredited Training?
CPD enables an individual to regularly apply focus and attention to important areas of their own development and provides the framework for a professional to take appropriate action to reduce any shortfalls in knowledge. Equally, an individual must see Continuing Professional Development as a way to remain competitive with his or her peers, and as an opportunity to differentiate themselves at moments where this may be required, such as in job interviews or in tenders for new work and business acquisition.
As more people become professionally qualified with similar qualifications, CPD becomes more important as a means of separating yourself from the pack.
From an electrical profession perspective, CPD is also recognised and accepted by the IET and the engineering council when looking at registration and continued development.
“Electrical safety and the welfare of our teams working on sites is paramount.
Over two days a number of the Llumarlite team completed the MANAGING ELECTRICAL SAFETY in Compliance with EaWR1989 run by Andy Griffiths at GCS Doncaster Ltd.
The training was mainly focused on the Electricity at Work Regulations, LOTO, and safe isolation and everyone that attended found it of great interest and benefit, especially engaging with the hands-on test rig.”
“If anyone has technicians, non-18th edition service engineers or even qualified electricians and think a toolbox talk will make you compliant, please think again..
This CPD training opened not only my eyes but even our sparkies and qualifying manager’s eyes. LOTO and safe isolation is taught by some but how many do training on the electricity at work regulations!!!
This should be mandatory, and I highly recommend Andy Griffiths in the way he delivers this training with a hands-on experience with his test rig.”
